Actor Taapsee Pannu is tight-lipped about her private life. She ensures that people talk more about her work and not her relationship with Mathias Boe. So much so that, Taapsee Pannu didn’t even share her wedding pictures on social media after she tied the knot with boyfriend Mathias Boe. Leaked pictures and videos were the only thing that got fans all excited. Nevertheless, we just came across a video of her Haldi ceremony on social media and we are delighted. The video gives a peek into the Haldi ceremony of Taapsee Pannu.

It had custom-illustrated blocks of Taapsee and Mathias which looked really cool. Some artisanal Indian figures were installed with disco balls. Apart from genda phool, they even painted shuttlecocks as a part of decoration which looked unique and funky. There were some earthen flower pots and centrepieces that were placed around the multi-coloured lounge seating area. The full-bloom Haldi throne looked vibrant and colourful. In the video, we also got to see Turkish carpets and spices along with an Indi-fusion DJ console.

Taapsee Pannu on keeping her marriage a secret

During a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Taapsee Pannu opened up about why she chose to keep her wedding to Mathias Boe a private affair. Talking about the ‘secret wedding,’ the ‘Pink’ actress said, “I’m not very sure if I want to let my personal life and the people involved in it, to go through the kind of scrutiny that happens when a public figure gets married. It’s me who has signed up for this, not my partner, not the people who were involved in the wedding. I am not sure about how I feel about it being out there, that’s why I’ve kept it to myself.”

She even further stated, “I have no plans for a release of any kind. I don’t think I am mentally prepared to put that out right now.

On the professional front, Taapsee will be next seen in Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Fardeen Khan. Khel Khel Mein is set to release on September 6, 2024.
